Hike with us to bring attention to Veterans Suicide Awareness Month
- Join us to bring light to an issue this September, for Veteran's Suicide Awareness Month. We will be hosting the 3rd annual Healing Heroes Hike!
- This hike has a movement option for everyone to participate!
- Option 1: Lakeview Loop Trail- This option follows our 1/2 mile looping trail with scenic views of the lake. This hike takes an average of 17 minutes.
- Option 2: Ruck-Hike- On this hike, carry a 17 pound weighted pack and hike all our combined trails in a loop.
- Option 3: Field Hike- This hike will go around our day use area . This accessible hike will be 1,700 feet long and loop around the field.
- Hang around after the hike for a hot dog and water!
- Visit our sign up station at the Day Use Pavilion to register for a hike.
- Entry fees for this event will be waived and we are accepting child's toy donation and canned food goods!
- Wear hiking clothes and shoes, bring water, and bug spray for this event!
