Birding 101 Hike

Join a ranger to learn about our feathered friends in the park!

Join us to learn all you need to know to start your birding journey through on a hike along Texas Oak Trail! On this hike we will talk about important bird characteristics we need to look for to identify them, learn some helpful birding tips, and practice birding outside to master our skills! All ages and experience levels are welcome!

• What to bring: Binoculars (optional, only if you already own a pair), and a curious mind.
• Where to meet: Texas Oak Trailhead.
• This event is free with park admission.  Program is weather dependent.
• Hiking attire, water and anything else you may need for a hike!
