Spear Throwing

A family-friendly blast to the past. Hunt like ancient people used to, with real Atlatls!

What to expect: Our spears are five-foot-tall, wooden, and thrown with the dominant arm, utilizing a slingshot-like device called an Atlatl. Ages 8+!

Participants will learn to throw these devices at foam targets to simulate hunting, and participate in a competition should time allow.

When: 10 - 11am

Where: Javelina Valley archery area
