Guided Sunset Kayaking

Join Ranger Eric on a guided kayak trip.

Reservations are not currently required for this program. Availability is fist come first serve with a 15 person limit. There is no guarantee that spots will be available upon arrival. Keep this in mind if you are planning to drive a long distance for this program!

Whether you are an experienced kayaker or new to the hobby, come on out and join us for an afternoon of kayaking. Introductions and instructions will be given before the trip.

When: The kayak trip will begin at 7PM.

Where: Day use area near the kayaks.

Bring: Water shoes, appropriate attire, plenty of water, your own kayak or provided one (first come, first served).

Cost: Guided trips are free, entrance to the park requires a $6 day pass or a Texas State Park Pass. If you're coming after hours and have not gotten a day pass yet, make sure to pay at the self-pay station at Headquarters on the way into the park.  

Reminder: Keep in mind that even though these are guided trips, you participate at your own risk.
