Dive into the world of river otters.
Settle in by the water's edge and get ready to observe the park's most playful residents -- river otters!
During this program, we'll keep our eyes on the shoreline for otter activity while exploring their behaviors, adaptations, and the important role they play in our aquatic ecosystems. Whether we catch them swimming grooming, or just leaving clues behind, you'll learn what makes these sleek mammals so "otterly" amazing!
When: Sunday, November 29 from 7 to 8am
Meet: Nails Creek Boat Ramp
Bring: Water, cameras, lawn chairs
This event is free with park entry: $5 per person, kids 12 & under free. Park admission is free with a Texas State Parks Pass. Day passes can be purchased at our Self-Pay Kiosk or ahead of time on our reservation engine.
