Bunnys on the Trail
Hop on over to Lake Whitney State Park for a fun springtime adventure on the trails! Bring the whole family out for a self guided trail activity featuring hidden bunnies along the path! Enjoy a beautiful spring day, explore nature, and see how many bunny’s you can spot along the way.
**Event is weather permitting**
How It Works:
- Find each bunny along the trail
- Write down the word that goes with it
- Once you’ve found all the bunny’s and all the words, unscramble them to make a funny sentence
- Bring your completed sentence back to Park Headquarters to receive a treat!
🌿 Stop by the park headquarters to get started—and don’t forget your camera for those cute bunny finds!
What to Bring:
- Comfortable walking shoes
- Water and your favorite morning beverage
- Weather‑appropriate clothing
- Binoculars (if you have them)
- Camera or phone for photos
- Curiosity and a love for the outdoors
Snake Safety Reminder:
Spring is an active time for wildlife, including snakes. Before the hike, we’ll go over simple safety tips like staying on the trail, watching your step, and giving wildlife plenty of space. Snakes are an important part of the ecosystem, and awareness helps keep both visitors and wildlife safe.
