Enjoy a relaxing morning walk along the Towash Forest Trail while sipping your favorite coffee and discovering the beautiful birds that call Lake Whitney State Park home.

Join Ranger Lory for a peaceful 1‑mile walk through the Towash Forest Trail. As we wander through the woods using our 4 senses, we’ll take time to observe, listen, and learn about the birds returning to Lake Whitney State Park. This guided walk is perfect for all birding experience levels and offers a fun, easy way to connect with nature and sharpen your bird‑watching skills.

After you stop and pay your day use fees drive down to the Towash Forest Trail and meet up at the parking lot.  (If camping, no need to stop at HQ's just go to trailhead entrance)
