Caldwell County Girls’ Outdoor Workshop

Join us for a FREE outdoor skills workshop exclusively for girls ages 10-18! Registration required.
Join Texas Game Wardens and Lockhart State Park Rangers for a day of archery, fishing, and air rifle! No experience needed and all equipment provided.
This workshop is FREE for all participants and their families. In addition, free lunch will be provided for participants, courtesy of The Texas Game Warden Association. Plus, we'll have an aircraft demonstration and raffle during lunchtime!
Requirements:
- Participants should be girls ages 10-18.
- A signed liability waiver and the presence of a parent, guardian, or supervising adult is required for each participant.
Registration: Program space is limited, so registration is required. Registration is online only. Please click here to register! Please register only if you’re sure your student can attend, and if your plans change, please email lauren.hartwick@tpwd.texas.gov or call 512-398-3479 to cancel so that another girl can have that spot.
Prepare: Please dress for the weather, wear close-toed shoes, and bring water. Apply sunscreen and/or bug repellent, as needed. You may also want to bring a hat!
Meet: In the picnic area of the park. If driving from park HQ, pass the pool and take your first right-hand turn into the picnic area parking lot.
Fees: This workshop is FREE for all participants and their families, and free lunch will be provided for participants.
