Air Rifle 101

Learn basic firearm safety and practice your target shooting! Visitors must be at least 9 years old and sign a liability waiver to participate. Registration required.

Participants will learn the basics of air rifle safety and marksmanship in this safe and fun workshop.  All equipment is provided.  Registration is required; please read the requirements carefully before registering.

Requirements:

• Participants must be at least 9 years of age.
• Participants must sign a liability waiver.
• Anyone under the age of 15 must be accompanied by an adult.

Registration: Class space is limited, so registration is required. Registration is online only. Prepare: Dress for being outside (layers and sturdy shoes recommended) and bring water. Apply sunscreen and bug repellent, as needed.

Meet: Please arrive early to allow yourself time to check into the park and travel to our class location. Meet your instructor at the archery range, which is just past the pool on your right-hand side. Park in the pool parking lot or the picnic area parking lot.

Fees: Regular park entrance fees apply ($3/adult, free for children 12 & under).
