Hunter Education Course

Class costs $15. Registration required.

This course is designed for novice or young hunters, ages 9 years and above. The course covers the core competencies of firearm and hunting safety, hunting ethics, and wildlife conservation. All materials are provided.

Prepare: Online pre-registration is required. Register here! Bring a bag lunch. You may also bring your own eye and ear protection, if desired.

Meet: In the Lockhart State Park Recreation Hall.

Fees: The course fee is $15. You do not have to pay the $3/adult entrance fee to get into the park.
