Tipis on the Prairie

Join us to set up a tipi and learn about Native American culture!

All ages welcome!

Please Note: The tipi cannot safely be built if wind gusts are over 20 mph. If high winds are forecasted for the day of this program, it will be canceled. The cancellation notice will be posted here at least 2 hours before program start time, if needed.

Prepare: Dress for the weather and bring water. No registration required.

Meet: In the picnic area of the park. If driving from park HQ, pass the pool and take your first right-hand turn into the picnic area parking lot.

Fees: This program is free with entry to the park. Regular park entrance fees are $3/adult, free for children 12 & under.
