Birds are one of those creatures we see every day and don't always take a moment to appreciate. Beautiful and varied, birds serve important rolls in many ecosystems besides being wonderful to see.

Meet us at the amphitheater where we'll be heading along the Harmony Hill Loop to take a look at some of the avian species that live in those environments. Binoculars are available, but as always it's best to bring your own pair!

• Bring: Water, sunscreen, and binoculars. A bird guide if you have it!

• Cost: Entry fee is $4 for adults 13+ and FREE 12 & under (Park entry free with Texas State Park Pass.).
