Skins and Skulls

Ever wondered what's rustling in the brush outside your tents? Join us at the park and find out!

Where: At the Amphitheater

When: 3-4pm 8/16/24

Animals of all shapes and sizes are a regular sight out here at the park. Deer, armadillos, raccoons, mockingbirds and so much more flit through the trees and rustle the bushes.

Meet with us at the amphitheater where we'll be using some pelts, skulls, and feathers to help you identify what's out in the park, maybe just beyond the trees. This is a hands on activity, and all pelts and skulls will be there for you to handle!

• Bring: Water, sunscreen.

• Cost: Entry fee is $4 for adults 13+ and FREE 12 & under (Park entry free with Texas State Park Pass.).
