Start off the new year with a hike!
Spend the first day of 2026 in nature and take a stroll on our 2.8-mile Onion Creek Hike and Bike Trail at your own pace. Stop at the Visitor Center before your hike for a map and directions and be sure to get your First Day Hike sticker when you're done!
- Bring: Water, comfortable shoes, weather appropriate clothing
- Visitor Center Hours Jan. 1: 9 am-4 pm
Event is free with paid entrance fees; Adults: $6, Children 12 and under: Free.
*Parents must accompany all minors.
