Snake Safety

Craft with us and learn some tips and tricks to sharing a trail with snakes.

Did you know Texas is home to 76 species of snakes, and most of them are completely harmless? Join us at Meridian State Park for a fun and interactive program all about Texas snakes!

You will learn how to identify local species, stay safe on the trails, and appreciate these amazing reptiles. Plus, get creative with a hands-on snake craft using pipe cleaners and beads!
