Let your imagination blast off with captivating constellation stories and an stargazing evening stargazing with friends!
Join volunteer astronomer Chris Emory to say goodbye to the nearby, bright stars of the winter constellations and hello to the fainter spring night sky! Peer through a telescope for a closer look at the moon, swap sky stories, and soak up the magic of the night!
Meet: 7:15 pm @ the Lakeside Day Use Area
Bring: Dress for the weather, your own blanket or chairs, binoculars, and red lights only, please!
Cost: Free with park admission (or free with a Texas Parks Pass). Arriving after hours? Please use the self-pay station at Park HQ.
After Hour Passes: You can reserve your pass online here. If you do not reserve your day pass ahead of time online, you will need to come with exact change or your Texas State Parks Pass to fill out a self-pay envelope at the Front Office.
