UV Night Hike

Step into the glowing world of the night!

Hike the Little Springs Trail with a Ranger and discover the wild secrets that only reveal themselves under ultraviolet light.

From glowing insects to hidden colors in plants and rocks, this adventure uncovers the strange and beautiful wonders that come alive after dark. An unforgettable way to explore the park like you’ve never seen it before!

Difficulty & Length: Moderate, 0.7 mile hike on a rocky trail

Meet: 8:30 pm @ the Little Springs Trailhead

Bring: Weather-appropriate clothing, Water, Bug Spray, and Closed-Toe Shoes. UV flashlights will be provided. 

Cost: This program is included in park entry fees. Park admission is free with a Texas Parks Pass.

Note: Reserve your day pass online in advance here. If you do not reserve your day pass ahead of time online, you will need to come with exact change or your Texas State Parks Pass to fill out a self-pay envelope at the Front Office.
