Park-itects

Think like an architect, build like the CCC, and uncover the stories of the men who built our park!

Put on your imaginary hard hat and become a Park-itect! Discover how the young men of the Civilian Conservation Corps helped shape Meridian State Park in the 1930s, explore the craftsmanship behind some of the structures they left behind, and put your engineering skills to the test by working together to build an arch. All ages are welcome!

Meet: 1:00 pm @ the CCC Pavilion

Bring: Water, sunscreen, bug spray, and a willingness to get hands-on!

Cost: This program is free with park admission, you can reserve your daily entrance ticket online here. Park admission is free with a Texas Parks Pass.
