Bring your curiosity and your blanket—let’s party with the stars!

Join volunteer astronomer Chris as we bid farewell to summer’s sparkling constellations and welcome crisp autumn skies. Peer through a telescope for a closer look at the moon, swap sky stories, and soak up the magic of the night!

Meet: 7:45 pm @ the Lakeside Day Use Area

Bring: Water, bug spray, a chair or blanket, & red lights only, please!

Cost: Free with park admission (or free with a Texas State Parks Pass). Arriving after hours? Please use the self-pay station at Park HQ.

After Hour Passes: You can reserve your pass online here. If you do not reserve your day pass ahead of time online, you will need to come with exact change or your Texas State Parks Pass to fill out a self-pay envelope at the Front Office.
