Come join park staff at the Mission Pond for a closer look at the life that calls it home!
Ponds are full of many residents that all fulfill a role whether they're under, on, or over the water. Get to know the animals that make our pond home and get a closer look at these busy critters that we not always notice!
We will be meeting near the playground at the Tejas Timber Trailhead. Restrooms available nearby.
When: July 17th @ 1 PM.
What to bring: Some water, insect repellant and curiosity! Polarized Sunglasses can also add to the experience.
Cost: Regular Admission: $4/person; Kids 12 and under and carriers of a valid Texas State Parks Pass get in for free!
