Insects of Mission Tejas

Come explore the wide variety of insects that make Mission Tejas home and learn how they help nature and us!

If you're interested in butterflies, beetles or bugs, then come join us for a fun program about the insects that buzz, crawl and climb throughout the park!

We will explore around the park picnic area and Mission Pond, looking high and low for all sorts of insects and then we will take a closer look at what we find and discover what they are and what they do for us and the local ecosystem.

Come and see how insects are key players in keeping everything in balance!

Where: We will be meeting at the Group Pavilion near the playground. Restrooms available nearby.

When: March 11 & 19 @ 10 AM.

Cost: Regular admission into the park: $3/person. Kids 12 and under get to come for free! Same applies to carriers of a valid Texas State Parks Pass.
