Guided History Hike

Come learn about the history of Mission Tejas State Park with an easy guided hike around some the park's historic structures.

Come walk off some of that Thanksgiving turkey with a ranger-led hike through some of Mission Tejas' historic structures.

The hike will begin with a history presentation at the Commemorative Mission in the heart of the park. The hike will lead to the Nabedache Loop, past the park's main segment of the historic El Camino Real and then onwards to the remains of the Lucas Farm on the Chimney Loop trail. 

The hike will be just over a mile long over easy to moderate terrain. Restrooms will be available at the beginning and end of hike.

Where: We will meet at the Commemorative Mission in the heart of the park.

When: Nov. 30 @ 10 AM.

Cost: Regular admission into Mission Tejas SP: $3 per person. Children 12 and under and carriers of a valid Texas State Parks Pass get in for free.
