Tejas Timber Nature Hike

Come join a park ranger for a guided nature walk on the Tejas Timber Trail. Come on this easy hike and scenery of the forest and learn about how wildlife prepares for the incoming fall.

As the sun starts to dip a little lower in the sky, and migrating birds fill the woods, we can see how wild residents prepare during the changing seasons. Come spend a morning at Mission Tejas State Park with a ranger and learn more about the changing woods during a guided hike. The trail is an easy, half-mile loop; strollers, walkers and wheelchairs are welcome! Restrooms and water fountains will be available.

Where: We will meet at the playground in the park's day-use area. 

When: Saturday, Sept. 19th @ 9:30 AM.

Cost: Regular admission into the park; $4/person. Kids 12 and under, as well as carriers of a valid Texas State Parks Pass, get in for free!
