Kayaking 101 *FULL*

Join rangers in this beginner-friendly program to learn about the basics of kayaking and kayaking safety, and get a chance to try your skills in the Oxbow Lake.

Subject Line: Kayaking 101

Time/Location: 1:00pm, meet by the fishing pier

Bring: Wear clothes you can get wet in, sunscreen, hat, water bottle, sunglasses, and closed toed-shoes. (Kayaks, personal floatation devices, and paddles will be provided by the park.)

Cost: This event is free with park admission, which is $3 per adult, those 12 and under are free. On weekends, reserve your day use passes early online! 

Note:

• All ages welcome, children must be accompanied by an adult. 
• If no participants arrive within 10 minutes of the start time, the program will be considered canceled.
• This program is weather dependent and is subject to cancelation
