Experience the beauty of the canyon like never before under the glow of this month's full moon!
We’ll start with a brief introduction to the full moon, including fascinating history and cultural significance. Then, we’ll venture out on a (2-mile round trip) hike under the light of the moon, exploring the park's stunning night landscape.
This is a unique opportunity to enjoy the outdoors in a whole new light—don’t miss out!
Things You Should Know:
Meet: Juniper Dirt Parking Lot (Please note: it is a 20-minute drive from the park entrance to this location)
Bring: Comfortable clothing, water, and flashlight.
Cost: Attendance to this event is open to the public and free AFTER regular day use or camping fees. Park admission is free with a Texas State Park Pass (purchased before event).
This program requires pre-registration and is open to the first 25 participants who register.
