Become a Citizen Scientist!
Wed, October 28, 2026
Did you know that you don't have to be a professional scientist to help track wildlife populations?
Want to join a bioblitz but not sure where to start? Start here!
Everyday people like teachers, parents, and kids helped professionals find the winter resting grounds of Monarch Butterflies! But those are not the only species that everyday people called Citizen Scientists have helped to track. Moths, butterflies, host plants, endangered birds, and more have all benefited from the efforts of Citizen Scientists. And with the apps on our phones, it's that much easier to contribute to science every day!
Come learn from a ranger at this introductory class on how you can contribute to science TODAY by using the apps iNaturalist or Seek on your phone.
