Zoo in the Sky

Bears. Dragons. Lions. Crabs. Dogs. Crows. And many more creatures are hiding in our stars!

There's a zoo in our night sky! But do you know where to look? Join one of our rangers as we point out the wildlife of the stars and share the stories they inspire.

Time: 8:30pm-10:30pm

Date: Saturday, March 14

Meet: Main Trailhead parking loop (parking loop will be closed to vehicles for this program)

Park: Use Canyon View parking loop and follow Connecting Trail to Main Trailhead

Bring: lawn chairs or blankets to sit on, water, and redlight flashlights

Redlights: To allow the best view of the stars, we will have our sky viewing area and restroom marked with red lights. We ask that participants utilize redlight flashlights and turn on their phone's red filter through their accessibility settings. Please avoid using any white or blue lights during this program because this kills yours and others night vision, making it harder to see our stars.
