Before the bow and arrow was developed, ancient Texans successfully hunted large game such as bison, with a weapon used by many ancient civilizations all over the world. Come learn more about the Atlatl, a weapon used by men, women and children, to hunt and survive!
- Meet at the Equestrian Trailhead (Behind the Bird Blinds) to join in.
- Signed Safety Waiver required to participate. (Provided at event)
- Children 8 years old and above can participate
- Adult supervision required for children 17 years old and younger.
- Normal entrance fees required to enter park, no additional fees or registration required to attend this event.
