Each spring we get the privilege of seeing several species of Warblers nesting in the park! This includes the Golden-Cheeked Warbler which is protected by the Endangered Species Act.

Come learn how to identify this endangered warbler through sight and song, then experience a little bit of how they live their lives while here in Central Texas. We'll have some mask making for your own bird mask, and lessons in nest making!

• Meet at the Picnic Area to join in.
• Wear weather appropriate clothing. Event will be taking place in the shade on even ground. There will be picnic tables for sitting.
• Restrooms and drinking water are within walking distance of this event. 
• Entrance fees are required to enter the park, no additional fee to attend this event. 
• Child and Dog friendly.
