Critter Couples

Grab your other half and learn about the critter couples of Texas!

Bring your better half and join a ranger for a family friendly hike along the Beaver Slide to discover how the critters of Texas experience "romance" in their own way! 

• Time: 1 PM - 2 PM
• Meet: Beaver Slide Trail (located in camp loop area at the primitive campsites parking lot). We will be hiking ~1.25 miles over uneven terrain with exposed roots and slight inclines. 
• Bring: Your significant other or bestie, weather appropriate clothing, water, snack. 
• Cost: Entry fee is $5 for ages 13 & older and free for 12 & under (Park entry free with Texas State Park Pass).

Please note: adult supervision is required for minors.
