Bat-er to Hear You With

Join a ranger for a moon-lit evening as we explore some of our park’s most mysterious residents.
You will learn about bats’ highly developed sense of hearing, their use of echolocation to navigate, and their many unique body structures. During a ranger-led tour you will have the opportunity to identify bat habitat and explore the diet and range of these nocturnal foragers.
Meet: Check in at the Visitor Center front desk for the program.
Prepare: Wear weather-appropriate clothing and sturdy shoes. Bring plenty of water and apply bug repellent and sunscreen, as needed.
Fee: This program is FREE with general admission to the park. Adults are $4 per person and children ages 12 and under are free.
