First Day Hike

Hike the park to start the year off right with some exercise!

Join us for a nice walk in the park! We'll tour the trail and gardens by headquarters then move out on the tram road to get some distance.

Anyone is welcome to join us and no one is obligated to stay the whole time. The ranger will walk until the last person is ready to head back.

The trails and roads are flat with very minor hills, and most of the hike will be on hard surfaces.

Park entry is $4 for those 12 and up or free with a Texas State Park Pass.
