Join a ranger to learn about our nocturnal creatures’ secrets to success.
With a ranger you will learn about the park’s nightjars, owls, bats, and moths and how they navigate and thrive at night due to a combination of specialized adaptations and strategic advantages. During a ranger-led tour you will explore the habitats and diets of our park’s nighttime navigators.
Meet: Check in at the Visitor Center front desk for the program.
Prepare: Wear weather-appropriate clothing and sturdy shoes. Bring plenty of water and apply bug repellent and sunscreen, as needed.
Fee: This program is FREE with general admission to the park. Adults are $4 per person and children ages 12 and under are FREE.
