Escape the summer heat and join us for a cool treat, hands-on activity, and a ranger-led good time!
Take a refreshing break from the Texas heat and join a ranger for a relaxing, family‑friendly program at San Angelo State Park.
We’ll spend some time sharing favorite outdoor stories, exploring fun summertime safety tips, and enjoying a cool treat. It’s a casual, welcoming opportunity to connect, ask questions, and enjoy a bit of shade and conversation.
When: Friday, August 14th at 5:30 pm
Where: Meet at the Chaparral Pavilion in the South Unit.
Bring: Water, sun protection, and your curiosity! Dress for the weather.
Cost: This program is free with park admission. Day passes are $4 per person 13 and up.
Park admission is free with a Texas Parks Pass. If you will be arriving after the gate house has closed and have not purchased your day pass in advance online or by calling the reservation center at (512) 389‑8900, please be sure you have exact change to use the self-pay station.
