Nurdle Patrol/Trash Pick Up

Even the smallest plastics have the biggest impacts

Join Ranger Laura as we walk and talk on Central beach looking for nurdles and other microplastics then take a walk to pick up trash.

Location: Meet at Water Refill Station 

What to bring:
- Comfortable shoes and clothes for walking on the beach
- Reusable water bottles
- Sunscreen
- Bug Spray

We will provide:
- Nurdle collection bottles
- Tweezers
- Gloves
- Trash collection buckets and bags

On busy weekends, reserve your day pass early online! Park admission is free with a Texas State Parks Pass.
