Birdwatching Hike

Calling all bird enthusiasts!

Join the search for our variety of feathered friends that call the park home on a guided birding hike. 

When: Sunday, November 9, 8:30-9:15am

Where: Meet at the Pond Pavilion

Distance: Approximately 1 mile on a mix of flat gravel surfaces and boardwalks. 

Bring: Water. Water fountain located in Heron Plaza near restrooms.

Wear: Lightweight layers, a hat, and comfortable hiking shoes. SPF and bug spray recommended. 

Cost: FREE. Sheldon Lake State Park requires no permits or day-use fees.
