Cane Pole Fishing

Ready for some fin-tastic fishing?
Cane poles are much simpler than rods with reels, come test them out with us and see if you can catch some fish the old-fashioned way!
Poles and bait will be provided, participants are required to listen to the safety talk and youngsters must wear the safety googles provided.
When: Saturday, March 15, 8;30-11am
Where: Meet at Pond 1S
Distance: This program is stationary and take place at the catch and release fishing ponds.
Bring: Water. Water fountain located in Heron Plaza near restrooms.
Wear: Lightweight layers, a hat, and comfortable hiking shoes. SPF and bug spray recommended.
Cost: FREE. Sheldon Lake State Park requires no permits or day-use fees.
