Color Hike

Fall in love with the park's autumn colors!

It’s fall y’all! Join a ranger on a guided hike in search of the park’s colors of the season!

When: Saturday, November 16, 9:00-10:00am

Where: Meet in the Pond Pavilion.

Distance: This program will take place along the Pond Loop Trail which is a .6 mile hike on a flat, gravel surface. 

Bring: Water. Water fountain located in Heron Plaza near restrooms.

Wear: Lightweight layers, a hat, and comfortable hiking shoes. SPF and bug spray recommended. 

Cost: FREE. Sheldon Lake State Park requires no permits or day-use fees.
