Gator Gazing

Alligators are out and about!

Join a ranger for a guided hike to learn more about these incredible reptiles and see how many you can spot!

When: Sunday, April 6, 2-3pm

Where: Meet at the Pond Pavilion

Distance: Approximately 1 mile on a mix of flat gravel surfaces and boardwalks. 

Bring: Water. Water fountain located in Heron Plaza near restrooms.

Wear: Lightweight layers, a hat, and comfortable hiking shoes. SPF and bug spray recommended. 

Cost: FREE. Sheldon Lake State Park requires no permits or day-use fees.
