Looking for a fin-tastic time?
Looking for an afternoon that’s off the hook? Join us for a reel good time! We will be hosting our Backyard Bass and Cane Pole Fishing Program simultaneously. During these programs you will learn two different fishing methods and attempt to catch a variety of fish.
Poles and bait will be provided, participants are required to listen to the safety talk and youngsters must wear the safety googles provided.
When: Saturday, April 25, 9-10:00am
Where: Meet at Pond 1S
Distance: This program is stationary and take place at the catch and release fishing ponds.
Bring: Water. Water fountain located in Heron Plaza near restrooms.
Wear: Lightweight layers, a hat, and comfortable hiking shoes. SPF and bug spray recommended.
Cost: FREE. Sheldon Lake State Park requires no permits or day-use fees.
