Junior Ranger Hike

Do you have what it takes to be a Junior Ranger?

Who’s ready to earn their badge? Join a ranger on a guided hike and work with them to become a fully fledged Junior Ranger!

When: Saturday, May 10, 10-11am

Where: Meet in the Pond Pavilion.

Distance: This program will take place along the Pond Loop Trail which is a .6 mile hike on a flat, gravel surface. We will make several stops along the way for participants to work on their journals. 

Bring: Water. Water fountain located in Heron Plaza near restrooms.

Wear: Lightweight layers, a hat, and comfortable hiking shoes. SPF and bug spray recommended. 

Cost: FREE. Sheldon Lake State Park requires no permits or day-use fees.
