Talkin' Trash

Will it decompose?

Litter often plagues our wild spaces. During this program you will see how long it takes things to decompose and why it is so important to trash your trash.  

When: Saturday, April 4, 10:30-11:30am

Where: Meet in Pond Pavilion.

Distance: This program is a stationary, tabling program that will take place in the Pond Pavilion. 

Bring: Water. Water fountain located in Heron Plaza near restrooms.

Wear: Lightweight layers, a hat, and comfortable hiking shoes. SPF and bug spray recommended. 

Cost: FREE. Sheldon Lake State Park requires no permits or day-use fees.
