Bird Walk

Take a walk with a Ranger to listen and see some of the birds of South Llano River State Park!

South Llano River State Park is home to four bird blinds, and a total of five bird-viewing areas. Join us for a short walk to visit Agarita Blind, and a walk down Agarita trail to see how many birds we can document!

Where: Meet at Buck House Parking Lot - The total walk won't be more than 1 mile.

What to Bring: water, snacks, binoculars (optional), good hiking shoes, and weather appropriate clothing. Optional: download Merlin Bird ID app before the event if you want to learn how to use this great tool!

Cost: Free with park admission, and park admission is free with a Texas State Parks Pass. On busy weekends, reserve your day use pass early online! Please note: Be sure you have a day pass purchased for everyone attending.
