Junior Ranger Academy

Want to learn more about being a good steward of state parks, the wonders of nature, and leaving no trace? Come join us to fill out a junior ranger journal with the help of park rangers! After, you will earn your very own Junior Ranger Badge for South Llano River State Park and be sworn in as a Texas State Parks Junior Ranger!

• Meet us at the Buck House where this program will be held.
• No age limit for this program but it is best for children 6 years old and older.
• Adults must accompany their child the entire program.
• Bathrooms and water are available nearby at headquarters.
• Camping loop bathrooms and water fountains are currently closed as this area is under construction.

Cost: Free with park admission, and park admission is free with a Texas State Parks Pass. On busy weekends, reserve your day use pass early online! Please note: Be sure you have a day pass purchased for everyone attending.
