Texas Native Pollinator BioBlitz (Self-Guided)

Visit South Llano River State Park and find as many pollinators as you can! Capture a picture and share on iNaturalist, Instagram, or Facebook!

Help contribute to a statewide community science project by observing, documenting, and sharing Texas pollinators and the plants they depend on! Pollinators and nectar providing plants are important for healthy ecosystems and our food supply. We would love for your help identifying these key species found in South Llano River State Park!

When: October 11

Program Details:

  • This is a self-guided event.

  • Participants of all ages and abilities are encouraged to observe pollinators and nectar-producing plants, take photos, and share their findings.

  • Share your observations by posting a photo or video to iNaturalist, Instagram, or the event’s Facebook page using #TXPollinators.

  • Registered participants will receive regular emails with fun observation challenges and educational resources throughout the event. To register, click this link.

Cost: Included with daily entrance fee. Adults are $5 per person. Children 12 and under are free. Park admission is free with a Texas Parks Pass.
