Learn about the clues an animal leaves behind with a hands-on activity!

Seeing an animal is always an exciting experience at a State Park! Sometimes these animals can be hard to see, but did you know they leave clues behind that let us know they're around?

Join a Park Ranger to learn how to identify tracks and scat that animals leave behind, so that you can identify what animals have been visiting your campsite and walking the same trails as you! The program will also include a hands-on activity, used by real-world biologists, to get a better idea of what cool critters may be hanging out in South Llano River State Park!

Where: Buck House Front Porch

Cost: Free with park admission, and park admission is free with a Texas State Parks Pass. On busy weekends, reserve your day use pass early online! Please note: Be sure you have a day pass purchased for everyone attending.
