Hike with a Ranger
Sat, March 28, 2026
As the forest awakens with new life, join us for a peaceful walk through the unique ecosystem of the bottomland forest.
This spring hike offers a perfect opportunity to enjoy mild weather, learn about local flora and fauna, and witness the vibrant greens and new growth returning to the landscape.
Your ranger guide will lead you along a 1 to 2‑mile trail journey with a few steep hills. Subject matter may vary depending on what we encounter along the way. We’ll talk about how a bottomland forest works and may also focus on plants, birds, wildlife, and other natural highlights that make an appearance during the hike.
