There are many trees in the forest, but what makes them special? Come find out at Stephen F. Austin State Park.

Join honorary Ranger Armadillo Jack for a fun and informative talk about the trees that thrive in the park’s lush bottomland forest. Learn how to identify native species, discover their ecological importance, and hear some wild stories from the woods!

This program is perfect for 4th grade and above, whether you're a budding botanist or just curious about the forest around you.

This event is included with the purchase of a day pass. Adults are $5 per person, Children 12 and under are no charge. Texas State Park Pass holders admitted free of charge!
