Reel Fun: Fishing 101

Come on out and catch some fish with us!

Join us for this come-and-go event!

Fishing 101 is a fun outdoor activity that will introduce kids and families to fishing in a hands-on learning environment. Learn proper casting techniques with our Backyard Bass game and have a chance to catch real fish in Lake Texoma!

Meet:  At the Lighted Fishing Pier  -  Just past the Bois d'Arc camping loop.

Bring: Water, sunscreen, and closed toed shoes. We have a limited number of poles so feel free to bring your own gear if you prefer!

Cost: Free with park admission. $5/person 13 and up, free for children 12 and under. Park admission is free with a Texas State Parks Pass.
