Biologists will provide an overview of the wildlife tax valuation, developing a wildlife management plan, and management practices. In-person attendance only.
Texas Parks and Wildlife and Texas A&M AgriLife are hosting a free in-person workshop for landowners interested in Wildlife Tax Valuation.
During the workshop, biologists will provide a general overview of the wildlife tax valuation, wildlife management plan development, and applicable management practices. For those that attend in person, biologists will be on hand to provide management recommendations and help develop wildlife management plans following the last presentation.
Sign-in starts at 8 AM. Presentations run from 8:15 AM until 12 PM.

Texas landowners interested in wildlife tax valuation for their property.

- Local AgriLife, TPWD, & NRCS Updates
- Overview of Wildlife Tax Valuation
- Wildlife Management Principles and Terms
- Requirements and Wildlife Management Plan Development
- The 7 Wildlife Management Practices
- Filling out the Wildlife Management Plan and Annual Review
- Help with Individual Plan Preparation
*You may attend any workshop regardless of the county you live in or where your property is located.
*Landowners must have a current 1-D-1 appraisal to be eligible for the Wildlife Tax Valuation.
*We'll send an email the week of the workshop with more information on what to bring.
*Snacks and lunch will not be provided.
